🧱 A new foundation for case management
In 2025, Spot's new case management platform launched.With AI at its core, new Spot is designed to support intake and case management for any case type. The goal is to give HR, Employee Relations, Compliance, Legal, and Security teams a cutting-edge, customizable alternative to spreadsheets and patchwork tools.
🤖 AI that supports real work
Spot's new platform is built around AI functionality, always with a practical purpose:
AI-suggested follow-up questions to support thoughtful, non-leading investigations
Case Agent lets you query all of your case data in plain language for just-in-time analytics and pattern-matching (it even creates downloadable graphs of your data on the fly!)
Automations handle the repetitive, time-consuming tasks of case management. Auto-assign priority levels and route cases, auto-send confirmation emails and weekly email digests, and more.
Case Guide is trained on your processes and surfaces the next case management step at the right moment
Corrective actions as a new case type, where Spot helps policy-match, asks the right questions, and drafts documentation as managers answer questions

📝 Less admin, better documentation
We shipped several updates to make case documentation faster and more consistent:
Custom case management forms for investigation checklists, witness interviews, and closing memos
Collaborative notes, with auto-save and real-time editing for smoother teamwork inside cases
🌍 Built for global teams
Spot became significantly more accessible in 2025:
13 supported languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish
Automatic data redaction, with flexible retention rules by geography
🔗 Meet employees where they are
We continued expanding intake options so speaking up is easy and familiar:
WhatsApp intake channel for accessible, low-friction reporting for frontline workers
Smart, AI-guided intake adapts as employees answer questions, changing tone and questioning depending on the context (sensitive HR issue versus Compliance documentation). This means you could have one landing page for intake of all case types across HR, ER, Legal, Compliance, and Security.
🔒 Security & data privacy
Spot is now SOC 2 Type 2 compliant
Looking ahead to 2026
If 2025 was about laying fresh groundwork (and shipping a lot of new software), 2026 will be about momentum. We’re excited to keep building tools that make it easier for teams to do their (complicated! legally sensitive!) jobs and handle workplace issues well.
